Airdrie Valentines event to benefit local community
The Airdrie Health Foundation has plans in place to host a tasty fundraiser just in time for Valentine’s Day, and this virtual event presents the perfect opportunity for a romantic night in.
The organization has made arrangements to hold a Beer and Food Pairing Fundraiser, and while the ticket holders enjoy sampling locally crafted beer and a charcuterie board, they will be doing a good turn for the community. Couples tickets are available now, and these can be purchased for $75 for each pair.
The craft beer will be brewed by 948 Brewing Company, and each pair will receive four tall cans. This will be paired with a selection of savoury items supplied by Country Boards. The tasting packages will need to be picked up ahead of time at 541 Kingsview Way SE, and while they enjoy these refreshments, the ticketholders can follow along with a beer-themed presentation that will take place online using Google Meet.
A function like this gives an organization a way to continue its fundraising efforts even though people cannot currently meet in person. Packing supplies and other custom materials for such an occasion can be obtained from local print shops.
