Airdrie looks forward to sumptuous lobster dinner
A lobster boil can be a lot of fun, and Airdrie’s chapter of the Rotary Club has planned one that will be an elegant affair.
While many lobster dinners are casual meals, the one planned by the Club will be a sumptuous feast. Along with the seafood, there will be live entertainment and lots of good company, and while they dine, the ticket holders will be supporting an assortment of community service projects.
The lobsters will be cooked in the shell and served alongside a variety of gourmet accompaniments. Tickets start at $100 each, and there is also an option to purchase a table for ten. While the seafood will be the star of the show, the landlubbers in the crowd may opt for a steak dinner instead. A dance will follow the meal, and an auction is also on the agenda. The activity is part of the Club’s mandate of “service above self”, and while they enjoy themselves, the guests will be able to learn how their support will help others.
