Two local charities of choice will be benefiting from an upcoming Airdrie event, and it will give kids a day filled with fun.
The 5th annual Pirate and Princess Gala will be welcoming local kids, and there will also be fun for their parents. Tickets are $25.00 each, and there is a long list of activities on the agenda.
The attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their favourite pirate or princess attire, and there will be games to play, as well as crafts, face painting and a temporary tattoo station. A magician will be performing magical delights, and a Princess Tresses and Pirate Hair Messes booth will also be set up. A DJ will supply the music, and everyone will be able to take a spin on the dance floor.
While the younger guests enjoy themselves, the adults can try their luck in the Sponsor’s Silent Auction, as well as the door prize and even split draws. The activity has been organized by the Volunteer Airdrie Society.
Events often count on the generosity of the local business community. Corporate Gifts and other items can be prepared for a company to donate to an auction or raffle draw at events like this.
The 5th annual Pirate and Princess Gala is scheduled for February 23rd. It will kick off at the Town & Country Centre at 12:00 pm.
