Airdrie fundraiser to support local hospice
Hospices provide support to individuals and families that may be experiencing some of their most challenging times, and a local golf fundraiser will support the work of an Airdrie area provider of this service.
The Business Club of Airdrie & Area and the Airdrie & District Hospice Society recently co-released an announcement that the date has been set for the 2023 charity golf fundraising tournament that will be held in support of the Society. This will be its 7th year, and its planners are hoping it will be just as successful as in the past.
The tee-off time will be scheduled for the morning, and play will open with a shotgun start. The registrants will play through 18 holes at Woodside Golf Course, and everyone will have the use of a powered cart for the activity, as well as time on the driving range, a barbecued burger dinner and a chance to win a prize. Early bird tickets will be available until June 11th, and after that date, the price will go up.
Along with raising money, one of the goals of a fundraiser is often to increase awareness of a cause. Poster printing companies will have lots of ways of doing so.
