Airdrie festival to bid fond farewell to summer
Airdrie prides itself on being a great place to hang your hat, and a special celebration is on the way that will showcase its community spirit.
AirdrieFEST is right around the corner for the city, and it has a history of attracting thousands of attendees. It will take place outdoors on Main Street, and its businesses, not for profits, sports teams, schools and everyone else is invited to join the fun.
The plans for the day will see a vendor market set up, and this will be joined by Taste of Airdrie. A music stage will feature an assortment of local entertainment, and at least 150 displays and booths are expected to be on site along with a petting zoo, games, inflatables, a train and other fun. It was explained in its listing that as downtown parking is limited, the public is advised to ride share, use public transit, bike or walk to the venue.
A large celebration can help to build a strong community. Signage, banners and many other oversized printed materials can be prepared for an activity by a local banner printing company.
