Airdrie festival to be all about great food
Airdrie food service providers will be showcasing their talents during a September celebration taking place in Nose Creek Regional Park.
Flavours of Airdrie will be giving its restaurateurs, and other members of its hospitality sector, a venue where they can strut their stuff, and it will be all about what makes the local area special. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity, so the event will also perform a good turn in the community as well.
Each person who attends the festivities will be able to purchase tasting tickets which they can then redeem for food and drink samples. While the foodies enjoy their culinary tour, those who enjoy shopping can pay a visit to the crafters and other vendor booths, take in some live entertainment or just soak in the atmosphere of the gathering.
