What's Happening in Airdrie, AB…

Airdrie event to welcome little ghosts and goblins

Airdrie families have been invited to enjoy an afternoon of safe, Halloween themed activities, and the local food back will be the beneficiary of the event.

During “Boo at the Creek”, members of the community will be enjoying an afternoon of fun in Nose Creek Park. There is no charge to enter, but in lieu of an admission fee, everyone who plans on attending has been asked to bring along a generous donation for the Airdrie Food Bank.

Kids are welcome to come in costume, and there will be games, crafting stations, music and lots of other excitement. Prize draws have been planned, and some special VIP superhero and royal guests are also scheduled to make an appearance. Families can cheer on their little ones as they tackle the obstacle course, and everyone is welcome to choose their favourite gourd from the pumpkin patch.

For any event like this that often brings many people together, it can play a role in building a strong community. A logo design can help to build interest about the occasion in the local area, and a printing company’s graphic design staff can prepare one.

The 2019 “Boo at the Creek” has been scheduled for this Sunday, October 27. Families are welcome to drop by any time between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
