Airdrie conference to celebrate Womens Day

International Women’s Day is celebrated each year around the world and this year, Airdrie will be hosting the Talk Out Loud conference.

The event is a presentation of Ladies Out Loud, and a portion of all proceeds will be donated to community women’s programs.

This event is also part of the series Ladies Talk Out Loud. The theme of this year's conference is ‘Balance for Better: Better the Balance, Better the World’. It is hosted by Karen MacDonald, who is the founder of Ladies Out Loud.

The conference will feature a speaker's panel, with author Steena Holmes, Karen E. Lee, a retired clinical psychologist, business coach Branda Crompton and Airdrie Pride’s Kiersten Mohr all being panellists. Discussions will likely be about women's roles in the world and the local community.

Ladies Out Loud is an organization for women who are interested in improving the lives of those in their community as well as making new friends. Yearly membership is $40.

Airdrie print shops are often asked to provide print advertising for events like this.

The Talk Out Loud Conference will be held at Bert Church Theatre on March 8 from 2-5pm. Tickets are $30 per person and admission is limited to women only. For the most current information about this event, visit the Ladies Out Loud website.
