Airdrie celebrates Cinco de Mayo

The Cinco de Mayo Celebration and Salsa Competition is taking place in Airdrie next month, and is a presentation of the Creative Airdrie Society.

Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican celebration that takes place every year on May 5. It has become a popular holiday that is celebrated around the world.

This will be a fun day for the entire family in which there is set to be live entertainment, salsa dancing, children's craft activities and pinatas to break. There will also be a variety of Mexican food and drinks for sale, including plenty of chips and salsa.

Entry into the salsa competition is free for anyone representing a local business. The winner of the competition will be chosen by both the public and judges and will have bragging rights for the next year. It will also be a good opportunity for them to showcase their business in the community.

This is sure to be a popular event in Airdrie. Local stationery printers may help to spread the word by providing flyers that can be easily distributed in the city.

The Cinco de Mayo Celebration and Salsa Competition will be held at the Town and Country Centre on May 4 from 12:00 to 9:30 PM. The salsa competition will take place from 12:00 to 7:00 PM.
