The summer opening of a business offering fitness classes in the industrial suburb of Wangara made it clear that Print companies can still play a role in publicising a new venture. In July, Jayde and Kirstie Zaccaria, from the nearby suburb of Woodvale, opened their Jump Into It studio to help local people learn fitness routines and the finer points of drama, dancing and singing. As part of its progammes, it introduced performing arts classes on October 15
Jayde has extensive experience teaching media, drama and dance to high-school students, while Kirstie recently acquired her qualifications as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. They both have experience in the performing arts and, as new business owners, they are about to learn advertising and promotion.
The sisters have made good use of online social media and their local online community newspaper, but small businesses such as theirs usually benefit from creative use of printing services. Part of starting any kind of neighbourhood classes is doing some flyer printing, and getting permission to post the Flyers in community centres, shopping centres and schools.
The girls have recruited some other trainers to help with their classes, but they are not letting others do all the hands-on work. Both sisters are well aware that teaching fitness and performing arts will not necessarily have regular working hours. Kirstie will be taking fitness classes full-time, while Jayde continues with her full-time teaching work, and teaching performing arts after school hours. The sisters intend to allow parents to take advantage of the gym equipment while their children attend classes.
Places are still available for the new classes and those interested should visit the Jump Into It website.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Print
