Witness a light spectacular like no other

Wyndham Park in Werribee is set to light up at night for the spectacular LIT presentation on 10 consecutive evenings during March.

The free light spectacular, which is being put on by Wyndham City, will create amazing landscapes together with a wonderful laser show covered by a rainbow sky, a glowing nature trail, interactive projections and so much more.

According to Mayor of Wyndham Susan McIntyre, last year's light show drew the attention of over 28,000 people. This year's LIT will be bigger still and is set to introduce a fresh programme of immersive experiences and light installations.

The amazing lighting presentation is something all residents should experience, according to Councillor Marcel Mahfoud, who added:

“This year’s program will feature a high-energy laser show beamed every half hour and alternating with a rainbow sky canopy stretching over the lawn, light-drenched trees with sparkling mirror balls and Cortex – an illuminated inflatable mangrove forest.”

Poster printing campaigns have often helped to alert locals to major events such as LIT, which will feature many highlights, including a glowing trail of emerging night creatures, plus much more.

Residents are urged to make a night of it by first enjoying a meal at one of Werribee's many takeaways, pubs or restaurants before taking in the light spectacular at Wyndham Park. The show is free to experience from 8am to 11pm each night from 17 to 26 March.
