Werribee to present equestrian event

A multi-date national event dedicated to young equestrians from across Australia is being held at a riding centre sited in a famous greenspace in Werribee this year.

Werribee residents will be able to attend the 2026 Horseland Australian Interschool Championships in spring. Featuring young riders and their friends, family members and supporters, the event is celebrated as Interschools’ premier event with competitors showcasing their skills in several disciplines like combined training, eventing, jumping, all abilities, show horse and dressage.

Project managers of major sports events like riding championships often rely on experienced banner printing services that can create colourful signage tailored to their occasions.

The upcoming competition is open to riders aged between five and 18 years old. Young equestrians earn their place by competing in the State Interschool Championships before heading to the esteemed Australian Interschool Championships.

Ahead of the event, organisers are encouraging enterprises operating in the equestrian industry to connect. The championships will feature a trade village with limited spaces and trading areas are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. However, official sponsors of the event will be awarded priority status.

The 2026 Horseland Australian Interschool Championships will now run at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre from Saturday, September 26 to Thursday, October 1. The centre is situated on the 170K Road in Werribee South.
