An access course for those in the food processing sector interested in learning more about drying methods will be held in Werribee this summer.
Food processing industry professionals in Werribee can attend a course called “Food Drying Technology” in early 2025. The short but informative educational experience will run for two consecutive days in the suburb at the CSIRO food innovation centre.
As Australia's national science agency, CSIRO is regarded as the national science agency of Australia. It is focused on solving major challenges using innovative technology and science. For over a century it has worked to improve the lives of people both in Australia and all over the world.
Professional people who work for national agencies often carry branded contact cards, featuring their company’s Logo Design, to pass to partners and contacts.
Drying is regarded among the most frequently employed operations in the food processing sector. It is crucial to the quality, safety, and functionality of a diverse range of food products and the ingredients they contain. However, it is also an energy-intensive process and is poorly understood by many.
The Food Drying Technology course will run from Tuesday, February 25 to Wednesday, February 26 at the CSIRO Food Innovation Centre. The course starts at 8.15 am and ends at 4.30 pm on both days and admission is priced at $1760 per person. The centre is located at 671 Sneydes Road in Werribee.
