Athletes from across the country will soon congregate in Werribee for the 2025 Spartan Melbourne festival. Taking place over two days, the festival will feature a number of Spartan’s iconic obstacle courses suitable for participants of all ages and fitness levels.
Attendees will have a number of different courses to choose from, each with their own length, obstacles and level of difficulty. Alongside the classic 5km 20 Obstacle Sprint and 10km 25 Obstacle Super, athletes can join the 12 Obstacle 100m Course or the intense 4-hour Hurricane Heat event, with its series of 12 higher-difficulty challenges.
Younger athletes will also have the chance to compete, with the 1-3km Kids Race course.
Participants and spectators will be able to enjoy the festival before, after and between events. Staffed primarily by volunteers, Spartan Festival Villages typically include the check-in/number collection for athletes, a spectator zone and post-race medal and photo collection, as well as a selection of food stalls, merchandise stands, activities and live entertainment.
Competitive events like this one often rely on volunteers to perform various activities, including admin, set-up and customer service duties. Volunteers are typically given shirts as Corporate Gifts, prominently featuring the organisation’s Logo Design to ensure they are identifiable as staff on the day of the event.
