A comedian, writer and actor from Australia is set to appear live on stage in Melbourne later this year.
Those looking for laughs in Werribee and other Melbourne suburbs will soon get the opportunity to see man of many talents Jim Jefferies on stage. For a single night only, the “rock comic” who also writes, hosts TV shows, acts, and performs podcasts will be at the Margaret Court Arena with his latest tour. Entitled “Give ‘Em What They Want” the tour is presented proudly by Triple M and Seven.

The latest show from Jefferies has proven wildly successful internationally. It has sold out shows at some of the world’s biggest venues including the O2 Arena in London and Madison Square Garden in New York.
Born in Sydney, Jefferies moved to Perth to start studying classical music and musical theatre. While his elder brothers Scott and Daniel found professions as an investment banker and police inspector respectively, the acclaimed comic launched a successful stand-up career after leaving university early.
He achieved global attention in 2007 after he was attacked during an appearance on stage at the Manchester Comedy Festival. He later incorporated footage of the event into his act.
Jim Jefferies will now be live at Margaret Court Arena on Friday, August 9 at 7 pm. The arena can be found at Olympic Boulevard in Melbourne.
