Peak Strength Werribee will soon gather the area’s strongest athletes for their 2025 Strongman and Powerlifting Push Pull Championships.
The competition will pit powerlifters and strongmen against each other, with prize money being awarded based on highest totals in each weight category - regardless of which push and pull events the athlete competed in.
Powerlifters can expect a classic “Metal Militia” style push pull competition, aiming to hit the highest total weight lifted across the deadlift and bench press events. Strongman competitors will have the choice of log or axle clean and press, and Viking deadlift or trap bar deadlift for their push and pull events respectively.
Record breaking will be overseen according to the rules of the world deadlift council and Metal Militia, with national and world records both on the table. Athletes who wish to compete in a single event will also have the opportunity to aim for record breaking lifts but won't place in the overall competition.
Competitive sporting events like this one often allow venues and organisers to take advantage of crowds to sell branded products. This merchandise may include clothing, accessories and other small items typically featuring the Logo Design of the competition or organiser.
