The Winter Street Party is coming up this month and is set bring an evening of fun and entertainment to the city of Werribee.
Celebrated annually, the event will include street performers, live music acts and an array of warm, winter street foods. Lights will adorn the streets to create a festive and lively atmosphere across the suburb with fairy lights, neon animal figures and incandescent angels. A fire show will also be displayed.
Station Place will undergo a marked change in form as a large light cube becomes the spotlight for performances by well-known Melbourne theatre company, Born in a Taxi and Carla O’Brien.
There will plenty of activities for children and families on offer, with face painting, ice sculpting and a mobile circus will be doing the rounds of the streets with impromptu performances.
Local councillor, John Gibbons said the annual event attracts thousands of people to the area each year and encouraged local businesses to stay open late and participate in the festivities. Businesses may advertise special offers through the use of poster printing or Promotional Products which can be used to create awareness of services available within local the community.
The Winter Street Party will be held on Friday, June 28th from 4pm to 9pm. Admission to the party is free for all.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
