The popular Wyndham Harbour Triathlon will be held at Werribee South next month.
The event will include the Australian Paratriathlon, Intellectual Impairment Championships, and SuperSprint Triathlons for both novices and seasoned athletes.
The Community SuperSprint Triathlon will include a 375-metre swim, 8-kilometre bike ride, and a 2.5-kilometre run. Elements Coffee Corner will be open for visitors to purchase coffee on the day, and various food outlets will be located nearby.
An 18-hole mini golf course and children’s playground are both located at the event site to make this a family-friendly occasion. There are also public toilet facilities at the event site.
The triathlon is organised by AusTriathlon, which runs triathlons in various major cities including Canberra, Sydney, Werribee, and Mackay. Its purpose is to support participants of triathlons and multisport in Australia through the development and management of clubs and squads.
The organisation, which began in 1986, recently changed its name from Triathlon Australia to AusTriathlon. With this name change has come a new Logo Design and branding.
