A traditional Irish pub in Melbourne has announced it will be offering a sit-down Christmas dinner this winter.
Residents of Werribee and other suburbs of Melbourne seeking Christmas fare will soon enjoy a chance for traditional Irish dining. Later this year, PJ O’Briens Irish Pub will be presenting “Christmas in July” and is taking bookings for families and friends looking to enjoy a three-course Christmas dinner.
The menu features winter vegetable soup with Irish bread to start followed by a traditional roast turkey dinner with ham, roast potatoes, sage and thyme stuffing, honey glazed carrot and pumpkin, Brussel sprouts and gravy. For vegetarians there is a seasonal vegetable pastie with crushed peas and Irish curry sauce. The choice of deserts offered are apple crumble or classic plum pudding served with rum and raisin ice cream, crème anglaise and walnut crumble.
There will also be a special menu just for kids (12 years old and under). Restaurants and pubs serving food often rely on professional Print shops to produce special seasonal Menus for diners to order from. The festive feast for adults is $65 per head while children can eat for just $25.
Christmas in July will take place at PJ O'Brien's Irish Pub on Saturday, July 22. The pub is based on Southgate Avenue in Melbourne Southbank and dining will start at 6 pm.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Menus
