To be held over the long weekend in January, the event will feature five sessions and will provide an opportunity for participants to enjoy cuisine available from food trucks, catch a movie and relax on the beautifully maintained lawns whilst listening to music.
The lockdown experiences of 2020 have, according to Mayor of Wyndham Adele Hegedich, made it even more important for families in the local area to venture out and have fun, especially at family friendly events such as the Summer Celebration. She said that in addition to good food and great music, there will be lots for kids to enjoy, adding:
“From watching movies like Ride Like A Girl, Doolittle to Mary Poppins Returns, face painting, sports activities and games – the kids will have the best time!”
Major events such as this have often been the focus of community-based poster printing campaigns to help boost awareness and attendances.
The entertainment programme for the first session will feature the Aaron Schembri & Rosie Conforto Duo, with other acts on the long weekend programme to include the Unlimited Duo, Sonica Duo, Soul Obsession Duo and Look Sharp Duo.
Bookings are essential, as only 500 spots at each session are available during the Summer Celebration, which is to be held from January 22 to 24.
