As part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, an unusual comedy duo will be performing a show in Richmond.
The Odd Couple consists of Josh Liston and Oliver Hunter. The friends met in a book shop five years ago and argued about tennis; they reportedly could not be more different but have managed to forge a united comedy identity.
Their latest comedy offering involves them talking about why they are such good friends.
Liston refers to himself as an introverted, “nerdy” single man, who also creates and hosts podcasts for a living, which he has been doing for over 13 years.
Hunter describes himself as an extrovert and a wheelchair user, in the midst of navigating marriage and being a parent. He has played the comedy circuit all over the world, including appearing at the Hollywood Improv. He often makes jokes about living with a disability. He is also a keynote speaker and a consultant for Get Skilled Access, where he is involved with public transport focus groups and the Sport4All initiative.
Local printing services are often utilised in order to produce promotional material for comedy events.
The Odd Couple will be appearing at Goff’s Richmond, 215 Swan Street, Melbourne, from 9 until 12 April and from 16 to 19 April. Shows start at 7:15 pm. Tickets cost from $17.19. The show lasts for just under an hour.
