Richmond residents thinking of booking a cruise for their next holiday can find inspiration at the Melbourne Convention Centre next week.
The centre will be hosting a Cruise Expo with more than 30 international and Australian cruise and travel companies taking part, including those catering for more diverse trips such as a steamboat along American rivers.
As well as cruise operators, there will be representatives from railway tour companies and businesses that deal with the administration needed for a big trip, such as insurance. Many will be offering special deals during the event, including discounts or extra credit to spend on board.
Visitors who do not want to make a decision on the day could take advantage of catalogue printing to take home information about the cruises on offer and book later.
The event will also feature a number of presentations on destinations, different types of cruises including luxury trips and short breaks, and how to make the most of a cruising holiday.
Everyone who attends stands the chance of winning a 12-night cruise, while anyone who Books and pays a deposit on the day will also be entered to win a travel gift card.
The Expo will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday September 5 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets can be bought on the door or pre-booked through the Expo website.Get a Free Quote for Books
