An alternative musical duo from Brisbane is set to perform live in Richmond.
Richmond’s acclaimed music venue the Corner Hotel will extend a warm welcome to rising indie Australian indie stars Hollow Coves this winter. Hotels, concert halls and cafés hosting live musical performances can sometimes advertise gigs by employing experts in flyer printing to produce eye-catching leaflets detailing upcoming dates.
The Richmond concert will allow the two-man group to introduce tracks from their recordings, which may include songs from the album “Moments” and celebrated EP “Wanderlust”, along with their hit single “Coastline”. Comprised of Ryan and Matt, who both play guitar and sing, Hollow Coves have played sold-out performances at home and abroad and amassed more than 200 million streams on the popular music platform Spotify.
While they have created their own unique style of indie music, the musicians have stated multiple influences, including The Paper Kites, Coldplay and Australian folk pop group Angus & Julia Stone, who Ryan saw play at the Woodford Folk Festival. Hollow Coves first played live after one of their songs achieved one million plays through SoundCloud.
Hollow Coves will now play the Corner Hotel, located at 57 Swan Street in Richmond, on Friday, August 12. The band will be on stage from 9 pm onwards, and the show is strictly for those who are aged 18 or over.
