Booklovers in Richmond are set to enjoy a special treat as they can get up close and personal with some of their favourite authors. After last year’s event was postponed due to pandemic restrictions, the 2021 Books In-Sight Melbourne Author Signing Event will be forging ahead in early August.
Featuring a massive line-up of over 30 Australian authors, the Books In-Sight Melbourne event is the brainchild of local Melbourne authors J A Collard and C J Welles. From romance to crime and speculative fiction, there is certain to be a book suited to every reader’s taste. Authors attending signing events such as this can benefit from using banner printing services to help promote their works.
Not only will the day provide readers with an opportunity to meet their favourite authors and get their books signed, but attendees can also enjoy the fact that their patronage will also help support the non-profit organisation Backpacks4VICKids, a group that provides emergency supplies, basic clothing and other necessities for Victorian children who find themselves placed in out-of-home care.
The 2021 Books In-Sight Melbourne Author Signing Event is scheduled to run on Saturday, August 7 in the Mayfair Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Collins Street. Running until 4pm, attendees who opt-in for a special VIP ticket can also beat the crowds and access everything the event has to offer one hour before general admission opens.
