A Richmond venue will soon open its doors to an acclaimed Aboriginal-Australian artist who has already enjoyed great success in his fledgling music career.
X Factor victor and Eurovision’s 9th-place Australian entrant Isaiah Firebrace will be playing a concert in Richmond. Once a small-town singer, his rise has seen him become counted among Australia’s greatest soul voices. Of Yorta Yorta and Gunditjmara parentage, Firebrace sang on the road with his brother and father between the ages of 3 and 11.
Firebrace now uses his music as a platform, and he is well known for his efforts campaigning to ensure Australian Aboriginal history is taught in schools. Those looking to raise the profile of their campaigns often enlist professional printing services to create Posters and Flyers to spread the word throughout local communities.
The first ever single that the singer released, ‘It’s Gotta Be You’, has now broken multiple records, earning it Double Platinum status here in Australia, and Platinum in Sweden and Norway. It currently has more than 280 million streams to its credit internationally.
Isaiah Firebrace will now play at the Corner Hotel on Swan Street in Richmond on Saturday, April 23 from 8.30 pm until 10 pm. Firebrace will have strong support on the night from a touring band led by David Taafua, the acclaimed Music Director.
