Businesses based in Yarra City are being encouraged to put themselves forward for a local award.
The Northern Business Achievement Awards celebrate the success of firms across north Melbourne, and are a collaboration between Yarra City Council and six other local authorities.
Each council chooses two businesses per year to put forward.
Yarra City is currently looking for companies that would like to be considered as its nomination for next year’s competition.
Winning recognition such as this is great publicity for local businesses, and firms could use the title in promotional material, such as Stationery printing, to inform clients of their success.
Richmond firms thinking of putting themselves forward must first complete a nomination form that will be assessed by a panel of judges. The two chosen companies will be further assessed against businesses from across the awards region before the winners are announced at the end of the year.
The council is also looking for a businessperson aged under-25 to put forward for the young achiever award.
Successful nominees must be able to attend the next business breakfast in Yarra, which will be held in March 2015, where their nomination will be formally announced.
Initial nominations close on Thursday, November 27th, and the chosen businesses will be informed next month. For more details and a copy of the nomination form, visit the Yarra City Council website.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
