A Richmond live music venue will be playing host to a well-known Australian Indie rock band next year.
Renowned Australian rockers The Whitlams are set to return to one of their favoured Melbourne haunts on their twice-postponed tour, entitled “Gaffage and Clink 2022”, which was delayed on account of the recent pandemic. Much loved at home and internationally, The Whitlams started in 1992 and now have several gold and platinum recordings to their credit, as well as four top 20 ARIA Chart albums.
Solo artists and bands of different music genres often rely on professional Print shops to create both promotional materials for tours and artwork for album covers.
Fans of The Whitlams attending the upcoming show in Richmond will get a chance to hear a selection of the band’s famous tracks performed live on stage, such as “You Sound Like Louis Burdet”, “Blow Up the Pokies”, “No Aphrodisiac”, “Buy Now Pay Later” and the classic “I Make Hamburgers”.
The show will also boast songs from The Whitlams’ first new recording in 15 years. The album is called “Sancho” and will be released on January 28.
The Whitlams will be playing at the Corner Hotel at 57 Swan Street in Richmond on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 7 pm to 10.20 pm. Ticketholders must be aged 18 or over to attend the show.
