Iconic American punk incoming for Richmond

A venue in Richmond renowned for presenting an eclectic range of musicians will be welcoming a legendary US punk rock band to its stage later this year.

The Corner Hotel in Richmond will proudly present Black Flag, the seminal US punk band this summer. The December show, promoted by Silverback Touring, is part of a major tour for the group, and will mark their first appearance in Australia in a decade. This event is suited to those aged 18 and over.

Venues hosting shows with an age restriction often consult expert poster printing services to create signage, clearly indicating who is eligible for entry and that ID is required for admission.

The pioneers of punk rock will be playing the full track list of their sophomore release “My War”, which includes well-known tracks like “Scream”, “The Swinging Man” and “Can’t Decide”. However, the band will also play a second set of Black Flag fan favourites that may include songs like “Six Pack” and “TV Party”.

The band’s line-up for the Australian tour will feature founder, guitarist and songwriter Gregg Ginn, and the pro skateboarder and singer Mike Vallely.

Black Flag will perform live at the Corner Hotel on Sunday, December 10. The venue is situated at 57 Swan Street in Richmond, and the gig will kick off at 8pm.
