A Richmond hotel is set to welcome an Australian artist making his return home after a term of international touring.
The Corner Hotel in Richmond has announced that Australian musician Donny Benét will be gracing its stage this coming June. Presented by Select Music, the show is suitable for audiences of 18 years of age and over and is part of the artist’s “Greatest Hits & D-Sides Tour”. The Richmond show is part of a series of select concerts across Australia and comes hot on the heels of a busy time for the performer. Throughout 2022, Benét experienced a jam-packed year which saw him play for international audiences followed by a headline tour of North America this year.
Those attending the show at the Corner Hotel will get a chance to hear Benét revisit old favourites from his diverse back catalogue, which spans the last decade as well as some rarely played “D-sides”. Supported by his professional band, the recording artist will be showcasing his anachronistic musical style loaded with post-disco ‘80s sounds.
Donny Benét will now perform live in concert at the Corner Hotel on Friday, June 16. The hotel can be found at 57 Swan Street in Richmond and the gig will begin at 8.30pm.
