Female entrepreneurs to gather in Richmond

Businesswomen from across the City of Yarra will be meeting in Richmond next month for a special lunch.

The event is being co-hosted by Yarra City Council and Leaders and Lattes, a networking group for female entrepreneurs across Melbourne, and will feature guest speaker Carolyn Cresswell.

Carolyn is one of Australia’s top businesswomen and has previously been named a Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year.

She is the founder of the Carmans brand of gourmet muesli, which has grown from a small business to one of Australia’s biggest cereals and an international brand while also raising four children.

The lunch will be hosted by former Olympic swimmer Giaan Rooney. Giaan won an Olympic gold medal with the women’s 100-metre medley relay team in 2004 and, since retiring from competitive swimming, has carved out a successful career in the media, appearing on both Nine Network and Seven Network shows.

With plenty of successful women in the same room, high-quality business card printing is essential if participants want to present a professional image.

Tickets for the event, which takes place on Thursday, June 18th at the Amora Riverwalk in Richmond, include a two-course meal and glass of wine, and guests also have the chance to win prizes during the lunch.

Places must be booked in advance through the Yarra City Council website, or through Leaders and Lattes.
