Women working in the technology sector in Richmond will have the opportunity to sharpen their skills and undertake some highly valuable networking when the 4th annual Girls in Tech: Australia Conference gets underway later this month.
This year’s conference, which has the theme “What does it mean to be in tech?”, will be led by several leading women in the Australian technology and business sectors.
Packed full of motivational keynote addresses and thought-provoking panel discussions, this year’s conference will also be simultaneously delivered via online streaming for those unable to make the conference in person. For those who can, however, the conference will also be hosting an exclusive VIP dinner event allowing attendees to further expand on their conversations from the day and maximise their networking opportunities. Conferences such as this can benefit from distributing promotional Pens and other products to attendees.
Part of the international Girls in Tech non-profit organisation, which was founded in 2007 by technology executive and activist Adriana Gascoigne, the Australian chapter is part of a broader community that boasts over 70,000 members worldwide. The goal of the Girls in Tech movement is to empower, educate and mentor women in the technology sector.
The 4th annual Girls in Tech: Australia Conference will take place at Cargo Hall in South Wharf on Wednesday, May 12th. Tickets for in-person and online attendance are available via the Girls in Tech website.
