Debut album celebrated as part of Richmond tour

Perth band South Summit is embarking on an Australian and New Zealand tour to support their first album, and one of the stops is a venue in Richmond.

South Summit has been around since 2020. Influences that include reggae, rock and hip-hop serve to create their eclectic sound. Band members include Josh Trindall (bass guitar), Nathan Osborne (drums), Isaiah Reuben (lead vocals), Nehemiah Reuben (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Fynn Samorali (lead guitar).

Following on from the initial three EPs, the band signed with Lemon Tree Music in April 2024. In November, the twelve-track debut album was released, called The Bliss, which reached number 25 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Singles released from this album include Givin’ It Up, Catacombs and Exceptional.

According to fans and critics, the sound of the band is unique and engaging, and brings a unique perspective to contemporary life. The members of the band are keen to showcase the debut album for their Antipodean fans on the current tour.
