Country music and line dancing fans living in the Richmond area will be well-served by a special evening at a nearby venue in March.
The Play Something CXNTRY event is scheduled to be an evening of popular country music, with line dancing thrown in for good measure. All are welcome, both veterans of the dance floor and complete beginners. Attendees are encouraged to request songs, which can be left on Facebook or the organiser’s Instagram page. Signing up for the social channels will also present opportunities to be awarded giveaways.
A country music DJ will be in attendance and will likely be spinning sounds from luminaries such as Shania Twain, Dolly Parton and Luke Combs. Popular tunes might include That Don’t Impress Me Much, Jolene and Beer Never Broke My Heart. There will be line dance tuition, so all participants will have a good opportunity to try out their best moves on the dance floor.
Poster printing is often the means by which local music events are advertised within the community.
Play Something CXNTRY will be taking place from 8 pm until 1 am on Friday, 28 March at the Richmond Club, which can be found at 6E Market Street in Richmond. Tickets cost from $10. Checked shirts, cowboy boots and cowboy hats are welcome and encouraged. The organiser is Ecclectic Events, and this is an 18+ event only.
