The move is part of the State Government's new Upskill My Business programme in which they are partnering with key education providers and industry groups.
The online events, short courses and programmes on offer will cover a range of topics including export preparation, staff development and business innovation. Each subject is considered important in seeking to help shape the path ahead for individuals and businesses.
Jobs, Innovation and Trade Minister Martin Pakula said the new Upskill My Business programme provides businesses with the power they need to get back on track and also to explore new opportunities. He added:
“The landscape has changed dramatically for many businesses and having the ability to access independent, expert thinking will be valuable.”
There are several organisations partnering with the State Government to deliver the initiative including Fair Work Australia, VCCI, RMIT and Deakin University.
The aim of the online courses, events and resources is to help small businesses regain ground and attract more customers, get ready for expected new conditions in the market and to improve cash flow management.
Whether offering printing services or an exporter, small business owners are being urged to find out more about the courses on offer on the Upskill Business government website.
