A Richmond venue favoured by an Australian indie rock band has been selected for a duo of shows to celebrate an important anniversary.
For a two-night stint, the Corner Hotel in Richmond will be playing host to Aussie indie rockers The Whitlams. The band hasn’t been shy about the local gig spot calling it their favourite venue in Melbourne and will now celebrate the 25th anniversary of their famous album “Love this City”.
Music venues sometimes call out to experienced Print shops that can design and produce flyer and Posters to promote the shows they present to the public.
The fourth studio album by The Whitlams, “Love this City” achieved double platinum status and is revered as a standout title in the band’s discography. Following the starred album “Eternal Nightcap”, the release is included in the “Best Australian Albums” list supplied by Rolling Stone Magazine and features singles like "Thank You (for loving me at my worst)" and "Blow Up the Pokies".
The show will see Tim Freedman joined by long-term collaborators Jak Housden on guitar and Terepai Richmond on drums and newcomer Ian Peres a multi-instrumentalist.
The Whitlams will be live at the Corner Hotel on Thursday, October 3 and Friday, October 4. The hotel is situated at 57 Swan Street in Richmond and both gigs will begin at 7 pm on both dates.
