Announced recently by Trade Minister Martin Pakula, other winners were Senetas, Marand Precision Engineering, Hosico Engineering Group, Greyscan Australia, Gekko Systems, E2 Language, Ego Pharmaceuticals and Care Essentials.
In selecting the winners, judges looked for excellence, innovation and resilience, and also acknowledged the exporters for their ability and efforts to combat the coronavirus, establish innovative new ways to attend to customer's needs and create new markets and products, according to Pakula, who added:
“Victorian businesses have shown amazing resilience and adaptability this year, exemplified by the efforts and achievements of our GOVEA winners.”
In an effort to support the state's exporters further, the minister announced a new “Global Gateway” programme had been started to provide exporters with grants to be put towards using services from professionals in the field to help better their export market strategy.
The package also includes a virtual e-commerce and trade mission programme, as well as freight stabilisation support.
