A reggaeton music legend from Columbia will soon be performing a live set in Melbourne presented by Frontier Touring.
Mitcham music fans with a love of reggaeton will be able to catch Columbian music icon J Balvin in concert this July when he appears at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena. Among the top 10 artists streamed globally and over 35 million records sold worldwide, J Balvin has come a long way from his origins as a boy uploading to Soundcloud. Today he is recognised as being one of the Latin music scene’s biggest breakout performers. 2019 saw the star from Medellín, Colombia become the first ever Latin act to headline the Lollapalooza music festival in its 28-year history.
Known for his collaboration, he has worked with the artists Pharrell, Cardi B, Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran, to name but a few. Those attending his show in Melbourne will get a chance to hear classic tracks from Balvin which may include “Mi Gente” and “I Like It”.
J Balvin will now play live at Margaret Court Arena on Sunday, July 23. The celebrated venue can be found on Olympic Boulevard in Melbourne and tickets are already available for presale via the Frontier Touring website.
