Orchestral tribute to UK music legends announced

An orchestral performance will be held in Melbourne to honour a world-famous UK band.

The Beatles fans from Mitcham to Malvern will not want to miss this unique chance to hear their favourite songs played by a 24-piece orchestra. Entitled “Come Together: The Music of The Beatles Orchestrated”, this single-night show will be led by George Ellis as conductor. Special guest vocalists for the evening event will include The Church’s Steve Kilbey, along with Bobby Fox, Rick Price and Dave Wilkins.

Live music venues like theatres and stadiums can use professional flyer printing services to create attractive leaflets that can be distributed to the public to encourage attendance. In the concert, which will be more than two hours long, those attending will be able to enjoy a wide range of hits from The Beatles’ songbook, including “All You Need is Love”, “Got to Get You into My Life”, “Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”, “Back in the U.S.S.R.” and many more.

The Come Together: The Music of The Beatles Orchestrated concert is set to take place at the Palais Theatre on Lower Esplanade in St Kilda, on Friday, September 3. The Melbourne-based picture palace has a capacity of almost 3,000 people, making it currently Australia’s largest seated theatre.

Doors for the show will open at 7pm, and the performance will start at 8pm.
