An acclaimed American artist will be staking to the stage soon in Melbourne.
US pop star Fletcher recently announced she will be touring New Zealand and Australia this August. Along with playing Brisbane’s Triffid Auckland’s Power Station and the Roundhouse in Sydney, the singer-songwriter will be performing at 170 Russel in Melbourne, allowing fans from Mitcham and other suburbs to see her in action. Live music venues like clubs, concert halls and auditoriums often use flyer printing services to create informative advertisements to promote the gigs they host.
Since her debut EP in 2019, released through Capitol Records and entitled “You Ruined New York City for Me”, Fletcher has earned critical acclaim from the press, including GQ, Interview Magazine, TIME, Harper’s Bazaar, The Guardian and Wonderland, among many others. The EP included her breakthrough track “Undrunk”, which claimed the top spot on Spotify’s renowned Viral Chart.
In recent years, the pop musician has enjoyed sold-out headline tours and performed at many major music festivals like Lollapalooza, Life is Beautiful and Bonnaroo, to name but a few. This year, she made the Forbes Under 30 list, and tickets for her tours of both North America and the UK sold out instantly.
Fletcher will play the 170 Russell venue, located on 170 Russell Street in Melbourne, on Tuesday, August 23. The gig will start at 8.30 pm and end at 10.30 pm.
