A unique dining experience designed to optimise the senses will take place at a restaurant in Melbourne in 2024.
Celebrated Melbourne eatery Gingerboy has announced it will be hosting an experience called “Dining in the Dark” in January. Food lovers from Mitcham and other suburbs of the coastal capital will be able to attend and enjoy a dining opportunity like no other.
Restaurants providing special dining events sometimes use expert brochure printing services to create promotional literature that highlights Menus and unique features.
Gingerboy is a revered restaurant serving modern Asian cuisine, and is the brainchild of Chef Teage Ezard. It is a sister eatery to his former restaurant, Ezard, which launched in 2006.
According to the event listing, statistics suggest that 80 percent of diners eat with their eyes. The concept of dining in the dark is to eliminate the sense of vision to heighten the taste and smell of the cuisine for an elevated experience.
The blindfolded dining event offers three different types of Menus to cater for a variety of tastes and diets, with meat, seafood, and vegan cuisine being the stars. Each menu features three courses, which includes an appetiser, a main and a dessert.
The Dining in the Dark event will be held at Gingerboy on Wednesday, January 10. The eatery is located at 27-29 Crossley Street in Melbourne, and the event will take place between 6pm and 8.30pm.Get a Free Quote for Menus
