Mitcham comedy fans to enjoy homegrown star

An Australian comic is bringing her award-winning brand of comedy to Melbourne later this year.

Those looking for laughs from Mitcham and other Melbourne suburbs won’t want to miss an upcoming performance at the city’s revered Athenaeum Theatre in April. For one night only, stand-up comedy star Kitty Flanagan will be treading the boards, bringing her new show to the city.

Promoters of live comedy acts often use professional flyer printing services to create glossy advertisements that can be distributed among the public. Doing this often works to draw sell-out crowds at comedy shows and other events.

Author of the best-selling book “488 Rules for Life”, Flanagan has been a familiar face on television both in Australia and the UK, where she branched out to build her career as a comic. From “Have You Been paying Attention” and “Utopia” to “Fisk” and “Full Frontal”, she has numerous noteworthy appearances under her belt, but is now returning to the stage with an all-new show.

Audiences attending the Melbourne show can expect handy hints, big laughs, and catchy comedy tunes from the AACTA Award winner who took home the title of Best Comedy Performer back in 2021.

Kitty Flanagan will take to the stage at the Athenaeum Theatre, located at 188 Collins Street in Melbourne, on Friday, April 21. The show will start at 6.45 pm.
