A musical parody of a hit US sitcom is coming to the stage in Melbourne.
Dubbed “Friends! The Musical Parody”, the satirical show invites comedy fans Mitcham and other Melbourne suburbs to see a brand-new take on the NBC’s much-loved situation comedy.
The comedy stage show has proved a hit in both New York and Las Vegas as well as across Australia, packing material from 236 episodes and 10 seasons into a single performance. Promoters and organisers of touring theatre shows often employ expert poster printing services to produce a wide range of advertisements that showcase performances both indoors and on the exterior of venues.
The show features on-stage gags and skits, along with faithful recreations of many moments form the series. It also includes original songs with titles like 'We'll Always Be There for You' and 'How you Doin?'
The musical extravaganza introduces the six core characters from the show – Rachel, Ross, Chandler, Joey, Monica and Phoebe and spins tales of friendship, love and life through musical numbers. Set within the famous Central Perk coffee shop from the sitcom, the stage show is packed with laughs for Friends fans.
“Friends! The Musical Parody” will now be performed live at the Comedy Theatre, located at 240 Exhibition Street in Melbourne, Victoria on Wednesday, November 23. The show will start at 8:30pm and end at 10:30pm.
