An evening dedicated to board games will be held in Melbourne early next year.
Fans of social events and board games from around Mitcham and other suburbs of Melbourne will not want to miss an upcoming opportunity taking place in the coastal capital’s Central Business District. Dubbed “Board Game Wednesday Night”, the returning event invites those from around the area to meet up in the CBD for drinks, dinner, and an introduction to a brand-new community of game enthusiasts.
Groups of friends and solo gamers alike can come down and take part with admission charged at $15 per person. No previous board gaming experience is needed, and attendees can enjoy a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where they can comfortably play games socially and meet new people who share their interests. Those running social events often use professional printing services to produce branded Flyers they can distribute to encourage those in the community to take part.
Arrival is encouraged from 6:30 pm onwards, allowing guests to grab some dinner and mingle before the event begins at 7:00 pm. Everyone takes part in an "icebreaker" activity designed by the community group hosts to get the conversation going, and then the games commence.
Board Games Wednesday Night will take place on January 4 at Fortress Melbourne, located at 25/23 Caledonian Lane, in Melbourne CBD.
