Mitcham will soon host a charity event for new dads for around the region.
The special fundraising event, called “Man with a Pram”, is being held to celebrate Father’s Day. The event invites new and expecting dads alike, plus mums and other family members and friends, to bring their carriers and prams to attend this outdoor occasion in support of a good cause.
The Man with a Pram walk will see fathers from around the region pushing children and infants around the park, while connecting with other parents in attendance with their little ones.
Charities and other non-profit organisations hosting outdoor fundraising activities like this can use professional banner printing services to create large-scale signage for events.
The upcoming event also honours new life as babies are born into the local community, while championing how important active fatherhood is in today’s society and supporting sufferers of perinatal mental health issues.
There will be plenty of opportunities for socialising and something to eat, and a raffle will also be held on the day, with numerous prizes to be won, including baby clothes, toys and accessories. Raffle tickets can be purchased online.
The Man with a Pram walk will take place on Sunday, September 5 from 8am until 10am at Halliday Park Playground, which is located at 308-332 Mitcham Road.
