A singer songwriter from England known for combining folk and electronic music will be performing a live set in Melbourne later this year.
Music lovers from Mitcham and other suburbs of the coastal capital will get their chance to see Beth Orton live in concert this April. The artist from Norfolk, England will take to the stage in the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall of the Melbourne Recital Centre for one night only as part of her Australia 2024 Tour. Renowned for her mesmerising presence onstage and emotive and evocative vocals, Orton has recently performed at Primavera Sound Barcelona and Glastonbury Festival in 2023. Revered for her collaborations, Orton has worked with music legends like William Orbit, Andrew Weatherall and The Chemical Brothers, to name but a few.
Beth Orton’s concert will be at the Melbourne Recital Centre on Wednesday, April 24. The venue is sited at 31 Sturt Street in Melbourne Southbank, and the set will start at 7pm and end at 10.30pm.
