BizHub Maroondah will bring together female entrepreneurs from Nunawading and the wider community for their upcoming workshop and networking event titled Women in Business: Inspire & Connect!.
The half-day event will feature a workshop, panel discussion and opportunities to network in a structured, professional environment.
Designed for businesswomen by businesswomen, the session will focus on dealing with the unique challenges of owning or managing a business while keeping up with the roles and commitments involved in everyday life. Discussion will focus on maintaining a personal and professional work/life balance; how to make space for friends and family without sacrificing career ambition and business growth; how to build strong business relationships and how to find your place as a leader in the community.
The workshop will be hosted by Fiona Killackey, founder and business mentor at My Daily Business, designed specifically to help women deal with the challenges of business ownership. The panel discussion ‘Making it Work’ will follow the workshop, featuring successful women from the local community, businesswomen and industry leaders. Attendees will also be able to participate in a networking session, guided by specially designed ‘connection cards’.
