Walk and learn from female mentors in Melbourne CBD

Aspiring female workers in the Melbourne CBD area have the opportunity to meet and share a conversation with an inspiring lady mentor on a purposeful walk.

The walking event involves a female leader walking and talking with two female employees who wish to gain valuable insights into the challenges and progression of specific careers.

The mentors will have beneficial advice gained within their working lives, and are often CEO’s, executives and directors who want to give back and empower women in the community.

Prospective walkers are paired with mentors as a result of their information on the booking form.

Those attending will not only benefit from the wisdom of the mentors, but from the opportunity to network with other walkers.

Signing up to other walks in the series will increase the scope for clarity of vision as all sorts of initiatives, problems and solutions can be addressed in a calm and unthreatening space. All women are welcome, whether just starting out on a career journey or established in their working life.

Stationery printers are often key to producing literature that might be distributed in order to supplement information gathered on a walk.

Mentor Walks Melbourne - Get Guidance and Grow Your Network is taking place on Friday, 7 June, from 7:10am until 8.30am. The meet location is under the King Edward VII monument in Queen Victoria Gardens.

The cost of a ticket is $33. Comfortable walking attire is suggested.
