Spice Girls tribute show set for Melbourne

Spice Girls fans in Melbourne CBD can head to the ‘Wannabe – The Spice Girls Show’ next August.

The show is based on 90s music by the Spice Girls and will include popular songs like ‘Wannabe’, ‘Say You’ll Be There’, ‘Goodbye’, ‘Stop’, ‘Too Much’, ‘2 Become 1’, ‘Holler’, ‘Mama’, ’Viva Forever’ and ‘Spice Up Your Life’. These songs can be experienced with tributes to Scary, Baby, Ginger, Sporty and Posh together on stage. Poster printing can be used to promote music events like this with attention-grabbing images and large text.

The show first opened in 2017 and received positive reviews. It has travelled across Europe, including the UK, and it made headlines at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Wannabe has been performed to over 100,000 individuals. The show is inspired by the career of the Spice Girls and features vocal and music combinations, dance routines, costumes and visual effects.

Spice Girls, a girl band of five, launched in 1996 and was made up of Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell. The group’s first single was ‘Wannabe’, which was a chart topper in 31 countries globally. Since then, about 85 million albums have been sold globally.

Wannabe – The Spice Girls Show will be held at The Palms at Crown Melbourne. It will run over two evenings on August 26th and 27th 2022 at 7.30pm. Tickets can be purchased from the Ticketmaster website and start at $70.30 apiece.
