Rev-heads congregate over four days at Formula One Grand Prix

Lovers of racing and Formula One Grand Prix are able to watch the action and enjoy the atmosphere and entertainment that accompanies it in Melbourne.

New regulations this year allow for bigger cars with wider tyres at faster speeds, with some even speculating that the speeds could be around 5 seconds faster for each lap than previously.

Grand Prix racing is one of the most widely anticipated racing events in fans of the sport’s Calendars. The FIA Formula 1™ World Championship was first staged in 1950 and this year marks the 33rd time the event has been held in Australia, and the 22nd time in Melbourne.

Drivers travel from all over the world to compete in the Grand Prix each year. This year competitors will include Esteban Ocon representing France, Kevin Magnussen representing Denmark, and Lewis Hamilton representing the United Kingdom, along with many other international favourites. Teams will include Ferrari, Red Bull Racing and Force India.
