Prestigious film event to be hosted in Melbourne CBD

Film enthusiasts in the Melbourne CBD area have the opportunity to mix with well-known film-making creatives and celebrities during a glamorous award ceremony that is a calendar highlight.

The International Film Festival of Australia Award Night (IFFA Awards Night 2025) is an event that brings together the people involved in film-making, celebrating national and international excellence across all disciplines, such as artistic, creative and technical talent. High-profile hosts will present awards with a distinct media reach across social media and television, including a live stream. There will also be entertainment, food and drinks.

The evening starts with a Red Carpet Walk at 6.30pm, including the photographing of guests, followed by the Awards ceremony, starting at 7pm. This year, nominations include High Rollers, starring John Travolta, The Guest from the BBC and Invisible Boys. Currently, thirteen categories are considered, including Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best TV Series and Best International Feature Film, as well as production awards such as Best Cinematography.

Events that are high-profile within the community may require local printing services to produce advertising and display material to attract an audience.

The IFFA Awards Night is taking place on Saturday 6th December, from 6.30pm until 10pm. The venue is The Edge, Federation Square, Melbourne 3000. There is a formal, black-tie dress code. Tickets cost $200.
